| General Description / Primary Purpose | We are seeking a candidate with experience in an array of biology courses (for majors and non-majors) including our general biology series, ecology, and principles of biology. The successful applicant will be able to act as a course coordinator for these courses. |
Essential Duties
| Job Function | Responsibilities include: coordination with professors, lecturers, graduate assistants, and the laboratory manager, preparation of materials for laboratory meetings, maintenance of course laboratories, development of new laboratory exercises and training and supervision of graduate assistants. In addition, the successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining and updating laboratory manuals, organizing grading and assessments, teaching applicable lab sections, and contributing to departmental governance. |
