About the role

This post focuses on high quality research and teaching in the field of microbial and phage biology. We wish to facilitate understanding of the role for phage therapy in manipulation of the inflammatory microbiome to guide key approaches to therapies, with a particular emphasis on airway pathologies. Potential areas of research could include the ecology of the airway microbiome and virome, the identification of microbiome dysbiosis, the assembly of microbial communities in the airways, host-microbiome interactions and investigating mechanisms/potential of phages in targeted therapy approaches.
