Lecturer

The Department of Management Science and Information Systems at the University of Massachusetts Boston invites applications for a fulltime lecturer position in Supply Chain and Analytics, to begin in the Spring 2023 academic semester.

Candidates must have an earned doctorate or master’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, or a closely related field prior to the date of appointment. The successful candidate will have demonstrated potential and commitment to effective teaching in graduate and undergraduate courses.

Responsibilities of the position include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in areas including Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, and Business Analytics. Industry experience is a plus. The successful candidate will also contribute to promoting the supply chain and business analytics programs and building industry connections. This position will have a major role in our bachelor and graduate programs. The candidate is also expected to interact effectively with a culturally diverse population of students and colleagues.

The Department of Management Science and Information offers (among other programs) an undergraduate concentration, as well as a master’s specialization, in Supply Chain and Service Management, an MS in Business Analytics, and a Ph.D. in Information Systems for Data Science.
