Lead Social Worker, LCSW – Social Services – Full Time 8 Hour Days (Exempt) (Non-Union)

The Lead Licensed  Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is responsible for psychosocial assessment, treatment planning and provision of social work services to patients, families, groups and the interdisciplinary team.   The Licensed Clinical Social Worker provides supervision of hours toward state licensure for registered Associate Clinical Social Workers, as assigned by the Director of Care Coordination.  The Lead LCSW is responsible for direct supervision of social work services provided in the hospital, including orientation and education of staff.

Minimum Education:
• A Masters degree in Social Work/Social Welfare from an accredited graduate school of social work.

Minimum Experience/Knowledge:
• Minimum of two to three year’s experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience providing clinical supervision and the ability to do so in the state of California.

Required License/Certification:
• Current California State LCSW in good standing. Board of Behavioral Sciences approved 15 hour supervision course and Fire Safety Class within 30 days of hire.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association.
• Fire and Safety Certification. If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 90 days of hire, and maintained by renewal before expiration date. (Required within LA City only)
