  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, to ensure the team is aligned, focused, and committed to delivering value.
  • Serve as a servant leader and coach to Agile teams, helping them to self-organize, plan, and execute effectively while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with product owners to ensure the product backlog is refined, prioritized, and ready for upcoming sprints.
  • Identify, address, and remove impediments or blockers that may impact the team’s ability to deliver on sprint goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including developers, testers, and business analysts, to ensure clear communication of project status, risks, and dependencies.
  • Monitor team performance using Agile metrics and provide regular updates and insights to stakeholders to drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Champion Agile best practices, principles, and frameworks within the organization, fostering an environment of collaboration and transparency.
  • Lead workshops and training sessions to enhance the team’s understanding of Agile methodologies and principles.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • 5+ years of experience working as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment, with a strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, Lean).
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), or equivalent Agile certification.
  • Proven track record of successfully coaching Agile teams and driving high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills to navigate complex team dynamics and project challenges.
  • Experience with Agile project management tools, such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and the ability to work closely with technical teams to ensure alignment on deliverables.
  • Experience in scaling Agile practices across multiple teams and departments.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in environments with a strong emphasis on data integrity, compliance, and privacy standards.
  • Proficiency in using data-driven insights and Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown charts, cycle time) to guide teams towards improvement.
  • Familiarity with additional Agile frameworks and methodologies, such as Kanban, SAFe, LeSS, or XP.
  • Experience in creating training materials and conducting Agile training sessions for teams and stakeholders.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and how they integrate with Agile methodologies.

SECURITY CLEARANCE LEVEL:

  • Ability to pass HHS and company background check to obtain a Public Trust Level 5 clearance.
