Job description

The School wishes to appoint a highly motivated individual to join our enthusiastic and committed team in the School of Medicine. The postholder will lead on the recruitment, oversight, quality management and evaluation of the clinical placements and work-based learning environments for undergraduate medical students and physician associates. This will include the recruitment of new clinical placement providers, provision of support and training, and quality assurance.

 

You will be familiar with working in the healthcare environment and desirably will have experience of managing clinical placements for healthcare professionals. You will have experience and understanding of work-based learning in undergraduate education, and an excellent track record of building and sustaining internal and external relationships.

 

The successful candidate will have a Degree in a relevant area (or equivalent experience learning) and experience of teaching in higher education. Excellent leadership and communication skills and an ability to work independently are important.
