Assists in the mentoring, monitoring and training of undergraduate and graduate students with their research projects; instructs specific engineering courses as indicated by the department; participates in writing project reports as well as analyzing, preparing, and delivering data packages for research sponsors; develops computer programs used in analysis of new research projects; organizes data and testing resources on laboratory storage server, as well as the lab website; participates in the planning and design of new research projects will lead specific projects
as indicated by PI

Minimum Education Requirement:

Bachelor’s Level Degree or equivalent educ/exp
#1 Major: nuclear engineering #2 Major: mechanical engineering

Additional Education Desired: Master’s Degree
#1 Major: nuclear engineering #2 Major: mechanical engineering

Experience:
Required: 1 year of experience in an engineering research capacity; Ability to translate, adapt and apply academic and/or practical knowledge to
the conduct of engineering research; experience with materials testing.

The Targeted Hiring Range for this position is $67,700 to $90,300
