Our Digital Team partners with business units and clients to develop software and technical innovation. As a Lead Data Architect, you will be responsible for:
- Striving to understand customer requirements and creating and adjusting data models accordingly
- Designing and engineering data models and data transformations
- Contributing to the continual improvement of standards and conventions in the data organization
- Communicating ideas and designs clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Explaining the thinking behind design choices and approaching technical criticism and suggestions with humility
- Delivering tasks on-time with alignment to technical goals. Can identify and raise issues, risks and benefits.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have Bachelor’s Degree. A minimum 8 years’ experience in data engineering.
- Have minimum 6 years’ experience in data engineering and 2 years of experience in data architecture or modeling.
- Have minimum of 5 years of experience in data architecture or modeling.
- Have high level of proficiency with SQL
- Have high level of proficiency with data modelling.
- Have Understanding of data technologies (e.g. AirFlow, Data Bricks, Snowflake, etc.)
- understand key cross-functional concepts that impact the organization; is aware of business priorities and organizational dynamics.
- Have strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Have excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Have collaborative approach to work with cross-functional teams.
