Your opportunity:
The Office of Learner Affairs (OLA) is dedicated to working with and supporting health professions learners from the Temerty Faculty of Medicine’s undergraduate medical education (MD and MD/PhD), Postgraduate Medical Education, Medical Radiation Sciences, Physician Assistant, and Occupational Therapy programs to optimize the learning environment and experience at individual and systems levels, and enable learners’ development into and as health care professionals. OLA is committed to equity and inclusion and strives to promote resilience, wellness, personal growth and social responsibility among our learners.
As the Lead Coordinator – Mentorship and Special Projects, you will oversee the Diversity Mentorship Program (DMP) and be integral to the planning and development of a mentorship strategy for Medical Education,in additional to supporting other initiatives within the Office of Learner Affairs. In the role, you will lead the development of operational policies, procedures and best practices for mentorship programs, prepare analyses for decision making, implement community engagement strategies, and build and strengthen relationships with stakeholders. Your extensive project management experience, combined with your solid collaborative, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills will be key to your success in this role.
