Interfor is looking for energetic and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Laborer Yard Utility.

What You’ll Do

  • Support yard operations as required.

  • Clean up as required.

  • Respect the security norms around the worksite.

  • Identify disruptions to operations and find solutions.

  • Respond to the needs of the team leader.

  • Remain flexible and be able to adapt to changes.

  • Report any risk of danger to the supervisor or to the safety committee.

What You Offer

  • Experience in a sawmill environment.

  • Possess a strong sense of safety and urgency.

  • Ability to work independently or as a team.

  • Sound understanding of safe work practices and safety regulations.

  • Ability to work at high heights.

  • Must be able to work in cold and heat.

  • Ability to tie cables on rail cars.

  • Ability to shovel snow.

  • Physical ability to perform duties, climb stairs, and lift +/- 50 lbs.
