Laboratory Technologist (2-year contract)

To provide operational and administrative support for research facilities managed by NUS Medicine Dean’s Office in areas of laboratory management, space management and safety to ensure their smooth and safe operation.

Job Description

• To assist with day-to-day operational maintenance and checks on research equipment, infrastructure and facilities ensuring their continual and safe operation in the Central Research Facilities (CRF) under NUS Medicine Dean’s Office
• To provide operation support for the proper and safe running of laboratories
• To provide support for research space management
• To carry out day-to-day administrative duties to support maintenance and operations of CRF

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering, Life Sciences, Biomedical or related discipline (e.g. Facilities Management)
• Experienced in working in research/ clinical lab settings with role in facility management and operations is preferred
• Technical and practical minded, with a hands-on attitude
• Able to participate in digitalization
• Able to work independently and effectively in a team setting
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Committed, self-disciplined, self-motivated with a high level of integrity and drive
• Proficient in MS Office applications and other application programs
