| Job Summary | The College of Agriculture, Food, & Environment, Department of Forestry and Natural Resources seeks a Laboratory Technician Senior. Candidates are sought with 1) demonstrated expertise laboratory set-up and management, Excel, R, SPSS, Sigma Plot, JMP; 2) working knowledge of topic areas such as forest health and ecological restoration, landscape and spatial ecology; and 3) demonstrated knowledge of providing research support by way of field and lab-based data collection; preparing and maintaining research samples for analysis; sample testing, organizing results for the research group, and facilitate storage and/or disposal of samples; preparation and/or editing of manuscripts and other grant proposals/reports. Responsibilities include laboratory set-up and management; organizing or assisting with field and lab-based collection of data; and research support.
