Job Description

Provides customer service through the delivery of information to clinicians, hospitals, other clients, and Core Laboratories staff. Conveys information and answers questions involving relatively complex laboratory issues. Records information in Laboratory computer systems.

Job Responsibility

  • Provides verbal, printed, and faxed results requested by clients via telephone.

  • Calls critical and results to clients; notifies clients of problem specimens in a timely manner.

  • Coordinates and acts as liaison between clients and Laboratory staff.

  • Promotes positive co-worker relationships, teamwork and cooperation, both within the department and across departmental lines.

  • Upgrades demographic information in Cerner system.

  • Monitors department activity, as assigned.

  • Assists with questions and issues.

  • Provides training on processes/procedures to Client Services staff and orientation to new hires.

  • Performs various administrative duties.

Job Qualification

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience, required.

The salary range for this position is $36,980-$55,690/year
