Lab Supervisor I.
Structural & Cellular Biology
Location:  New Orleans, LA
Summary
Organizes the in-person laboratory sessions. Works with students with the laboratory digita dissector and coordinates radiological anatomy teaching sessions.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to train and/or teach lab personnel in the proper use of scientific equipment
  • Familiarity with lab equipment
  • Ability to independently design and execute experiments related to the overall laboratory goals and objectives
  • Detail-oriented in order to ensure that all study procedures are completed according to the study protocol
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
  • Ability to coordinate and implement safety measures and serve as safety representative
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Proficient with Microsoft applications

Required Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in biological science and three years of experience in Gross, Developmental, and Radiological Anatomy
