Hiring Unit:
Department of Biology (Professor Melania Cristescu)
Position Summary:

  • Assists graduate students with experiments;
  • Sets up invertebrate cultures;
  • Sets up algal culture;
  • Extracts environmental DNA from cultures;
  • Participate to lab meeting

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities

Attention to details; Experience working in a lab environment; Experience with basic molecular techniques; Eager to work as a team. Experience and education:

One year experience working in a lab ; Must have First aid training and WHMIS;

Background in ecology and evolution
