Hiring Unit:
Redpath Museum (Professor Anthony Ricciardi)
Position Summary:

  • Set up and assist behavioural experiments with fish
  • Assist field work in September and early October: help students collect fish and invertebrates samples from lakes and rivers in the vicinity of Montreal
  • Sort invertebrates (from field samples) under a microscope in the lab
  • Conduct scientific literature searches
  • Enter data in spreadsheets
  • Take part in lab meetings, where required.
  • Take care of fish and crayfish in aquaria: feeding, water changes, water quality measurements, monitor fish health

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities

Excel proficiency.  Methodical Results oriented; ability to work with a te.     Experience and education: Undergraduate studies under wa.  Field experience an asset. MUST BE WORK STUDY APPROVED.
