Your Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage the Robotics Lab, including hardware, software, guidelines, and educational projects Operate and maintain lab equipment, ensuring smooth execution of student projects Establish and implement safety procedures, including training for students and faculty Manage the lab’s budget and coordinate with vendors for maintenance and repairs Collaborate with researchers conducting experiments and support research projects in the lab Your Qualifications: Relevant academic education, ideally a PhD degree or comparable practical experience Proficiency in ROS (Robot Operating System) for programming and controlling robotic systems Previous experience working with mechanical, electronic and robotics hardware, preferably in an educational or research environment, is appreciated Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures, including relevant certifications if applicable Excellent communication skills and fluency in English Your Opportunities: Participate in building up Austria’s newest public technical university, shaping the interdisciplinary future of research and education in digital technologies Develop and operate a fully equipped robotics lab for educational and research purposes Collaborate with international experts and small student groups on exciting projects Dynamic, digital work environment with a start-up atmosphere Free Austrian Climate Ticket (optimal public transport connections) Competitive salary starting from €4.500 gross/month (14 times per year), with the possibility of overpayment based on qualifications and experience.
