The KNAW Education Prize is awarded annually to the twelve best subject cluster projects by Dutch secondary school pupils (pre-university level). The prizewinners receive a scholarship of EUR 2000, 1500 or 1000 (for first, second or third place) and a certificate from the Academy.

About the KNAW Education Prize
The KNAW Education Prize was established in 2008 to mark the Academy’s bicentenary. The Academy awards the KNAW Education Prize to draw attention to the huge significance of teachers who encourage pupils to do their best each and every day. The winning pupils’ teachers attend a special afternoon event at the Academy.
