Position Overview

Are you looking for a communications role in a kaupapa Māori focused team?

The Office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor Māori at Massey University is seeking a Kaipāpāho Matua SeniorCommunications Advisor for a full time permanent position.
This role will lead in the development and implementation of communications strategies that promotes Māori success and achievement and will work collaboratively across Te Kunenga Ki Pūrehuroa, Massey University facilitating engagement.

About you

You will have experience working in kaupapa Māori environments, be a speaker of te reo Māori or keen to learn and have five years experience in communications, public relations or journalism or be ready to step up into a senior communications role.

This role reports to the Pou Pāpāho Executive Director of Māori Communications, Marketing, Digital & Media.

The preferred location is Ōteha campus, Albany, Auckland but negotiable for Wellington or Palmerston North campuses for the right candidate.
