The Role: Junior AI Engineer

As an AI Engineer specializing in Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing, you will lead the development and deployment of state-of-the-art AI solutions and products for a diverse client base.

In this role, you will need to

• Design, develop, and operationalize advanced NLP models such as summarization, question-answering, intent recognition, dialog/conversational AI, semantic search, named entity recognition, knowledge discovery, document understanding, and text classification.

• Work with a wide range of datasets from various sources including websites, wikis, enterprise applications, document stores, file systems, conversation platforms, social media, and databases.

• Employ leading-edge algorithms and models from TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Hugging Face, and engage with next-gen LLM frameworks like Langchain and Guardrails.

• Utilize modern MLOps practices to evaluate, manage, and deploy models efficiently and effectively in production environments.

• Develop and refine tools and processes to improve model performance and reproducibility across multiple customer engagements.

• Build and maintain robust, scalable solutions using cloud infrastructure such as AWS and Databricks to deploy LLM-powered systems.

• Create evaluation datasets, conduct rigorous model testing to ensure they meet high standards of accuracy and usability, and present findings and models effectively using platforms like Jupyter Notebooks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification would be a plus.

• Strong experience with web frameworks like ReactJS, NextJS or Vue.js

• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Bash.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
