JB Metzger graduated from ASU in 2002. He emerged as a leader in the mortgage industry and was president of The Metzger Group before he was taken from this world way too soon. JB Metzger was truly inspirational, and the epitome of an uncommon leader.

The JB Metzger Uncommon Leader Scholarship is for those who are dedicated to the idea that the leadership of health care professions must be reorganized and redefined in order to pursue higher standards of professional practice.

This scholarship supports graduate students enrolled in the MS Nursing (Entry to Nursing Practice) program within the Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation.
