The J. Orin Edson Flight Scholarship has been established by Charlene Edson in honor of her husband. This scholarship was created to enable students to follow their passion in aviation as J. Orin Edson did during his lifetime.

The scholarship is intended to help undergraduate aviation students and is renewable for up to two (2) years if all aviation and academic program requirements are met. Additional funding may be available for students who incur additional flight training costs required by their program.

This scholarship is administered and awarded externally by the ASU Foundation.
