Result of Service

Monthly video production every month, meeting deadline for corporate and project videos as and when needed. by 31 March:; 1 long-form video explainer, 4 social media video in square format for Instagram, 1 video for the opening of the Brussels office and 1 corporate video about SME Ministerial progress. by 30 April: 2 original videos with beneficiaries of 3 minutes in 16×9 for the ITC website, 4 social media video in square format for Instagram, 1 video for the Middle east regional SME Ministerial session and curation of the ITC YouTube channel. by 31 May 2 videos of 2,30″ in 16×9 for the ITC website on How-to-use an ITC tool, 4 social media video in square format for Instagram, 1 corporate video for the SME Ministerial progress and curation of the ITC YouTube channel. by 30June: 4 original videos for JAG of 2,30″ in 16×9, 4 social media video in square format for Instagram, and curation of the ITC YouTube channel. by 31 July: 3 original videos of in-country staff that were at ITC in June of 2,30″ in 16×9 for the ITC website, 4 social media video in square format for Instagram, one end of term video interview with ED and curation of the ITC YouTube channel. by 31 August: Curation of the YouTube channel, editing of 2 long for video explainers, one video of SME Ministerial progress no shorter than 2,00″ in format 16×9 and 4×3 for website and social media use.

Duties and Responsibilities

ITC is the United Nations” small business agency, and as part of its work it requires implementing communications and visibility action to showcase the impact of its work with beneficiaries. The channels of communication require video production for digital and non-digital platforms, as well as events. The Communications and Events team will need a Individual Contractor to contribute to developing the videos required for content and activities. The Individual Contractor will be developing the videos including in terms of filming, editing and producing. DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES The Individual Contractor will work under the direct supervision of Communications and Events team. The contractor will lead the production of a variety of high-quality video and photographic content adhering to ITC guidelines and deadlines. a. Assist in the writing of creative scripts for the project promotional videos and video lectures for e-learning courses • Working with a diverse team of experts, colleagues, and consultants in the Course Development Team, participating in the writing of creative scripts for short instructional videos and video lectures related to online learning content. Contribute creative ideas for content, storytelling, different formats b. Assist in filming video footage • Participate in the planning of video shoots and the development of production schedules. • Participate in the filming of videos and video lectures (using video equipment provided by ITC), including: o Stand-alone video lectures; o Videos about online learning materials; o Instructional videos for navigating the online e-learning platform. • Assist in the maintenance of a pre-video kit with which to assist the project staff members, consultants, and external contributors in shooting their own videos. c. Assist in the editing of video footage related to the project • Assist in the editing of video projects, including videos made by staff members and contributors. • Help review videos to ensure that all videos created are of the highest quality, to be published on online learning platforms and YouTube. • Organizing with experts, colleagues, and consultants to help create a standard ‘template’ for editing of videos and technical products, to be used for the project”s future production. With the Communication and Events team, the contractor will: • Set-up a new internal ITC multi-media studio • Help plan, direct and record video messages of ITC Executive Director, Deputy Executive Director and other internal video messages, either in person or remotely, independently as and when needed under guidance from focal points. • Provide support in planning and collecting multi-media content working directly with CE multi-media focal point and recording ITC/CE video content for internal and external use. • Help edit, finalize, and export videos to be used on social media and the ITC website, in the relevant formats. • Help organize and store the multi-media content working closely with respective focal points. • Working with CE focal points, help plan, direct and film ITC live broadcasts on various channels, when needed. • Assist in providing photographic support for CE during events, conferences, and other gatherings • Assist in the writing of creative scripts for the project promotional videos. • Provide technical expertise in the editing of video footage related to ITC projects Copyright Clause: The Individual Contractor has to ensure that she has obtained the necessary permissions with regard to intellectual property rights required to perform her services under this consultancy contract and for the subsequent dissemination by ITC in any form. Documentary proof is to be submitted to ITC. Should any license fee be due for the use of copyrighted materials of third parties, the Individual Contractor shall request the prior written permission from ITC. Qualifications/special skills

High school diploma (for individual Contractor only) • Experience with video production, video editing, scripting, set planning, video workflow. • Familiarity with professional or prosumer cameras, various HD and SD formats, pre-production/planning, scriptwriting, storyboarding, and photography; • Posess an understanding of video workflow, file types and codecs; • Experience with video production, video editing, scripting, set planning, video workflow. • Familiarity with professional or prosumer cameras, various HD and SD formats, pre-production/planning, scriptwriting, storyboarding, and photography; • Posess an understanding of video workflow, file types and codecs; Skills: • Excellent technical skills in video, audio and post – production; • A track record of working both independently and within a team; • Flexibility; ability to adapt and meet deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced environment; • Proactivity with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail;

Languages

Fluent written and spoken English and French is mandatory. Another UN official language is desirable.
