Position Summary The Department of French and Italian at Indiana University, Bloomington, invites applications for a full-time (10-month) non-tenure-track position at the level of Lecturer in Italian to begin in the fall of 2024. At Indiana University, lecturers are considered for promotion to senior lecturer after six years; senior lecturers may also be considered for promotion to the highest rank, teaching professor. We seek an individual with experience in teaching Italian language and culture and who is committed to a career of excellence in teaching. M.A. or Ph.D. required at the time of appointment. Excellence in teaching in a variety of formats and native/near-native Italian are essential.
