IT Technician II – User Services Technician – 517532

Pay Grade/Pay Range:  55 Hourly (non-exempt) – Minimum – $ 12.88 Midpoint – $ 18.81

Department/Organization: 200721 – Enterprise Technology

Normal Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:45pm

Job Summary: Under general supervision, the IT Technician II performs a variety of non-routine, entry-level IT support functions following established procedures. Knows fundamental IT concepts, practices and procedures. Resolves routine questions and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher levels.

Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma and two (2) years of IT experience; OR Associate’s degree or higher. Knowledge of basic programming, networking, or system skills. May require entry level training or certification. Student or Graduate Assistant, Intern, or student oriented experience will be considered. To be considered student experience, it must be detailed in the employment section on the application.
