The University of Hull is seeking talented and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as IT Service Desk Analysts.

Working within our second-line service desk, you will primarily provide remote and in-person IT support to our staff, students and partners. As a Service Desk Analyst, you will deliver high-quality customer focussed and responsive technical support to our users. You will use your knowledge and skills to troubleshoot IT issues, prioritising, categorising and resolving customer enquiries to agreed service levels. You will play a vital role in providing a route of escalation and support to our centralised first-line shared service centre and be confident writing support materials to help others learn and self-help.

You will have substantial experience in ITIL Service Management practises, with ITIL v3 or v4 qualifications desirable.

As a customer-facing position, you will be expected to work on our Hull campus 5 days a week, with opportunities to work flexibly on an ad-hoc basis as part of specific duties assigned by your line manager. It is expected that you will also be available to support a small number of University events per year that take place outside of regular business hours.
