Position Summary | This programmer position will work closely with the informatics team at the Carolina Center for Health Informatics (CCHI) in the Department of Emergency Medicine to migrate an existing Struts-based application to Spring / React. CCHI works closely with the NC Division of Public Health to develop and maintain several Web-based systems. This project will be focused on migrating an existing system related to the federal incentive program called Promoting Interoperability. The person in this position will be working with two software engineers, a database administrator, and a product owner on this migration. All work is 100% remote. |
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements | Master’s and 1-2 years’ experience; or Bachelors and 2-4 years’ experience; or will accept a combination of related education and experience in substitution. |
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience | At least 1 year of experience with React is required |
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience | Other experience that is strongly preferred: Full stack experience developing with Spring / React; experience with SQL server, GIT, IntelliJ, & WebStorm |
