General Qualifications
  • University degree, preferably in computer sciences or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum fifteen years of experience as SAP consultant, of which at least ten years in as project team leader in the areas of SD (Sales & Distribution), S/4 Service, MM (Materials Management).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as SAP S/4HANA consultant / team leader in the areas of SD (Sales & Distribution), S/4 Service, MM (Materials Management).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in leading project teams.
  • Ability to communicate in clear, concise written and verbal form effectively in both technical and non  technical areas with technicians and non-technical managers, especially under stress and tension.
  • Ability to manage time and work effectively under pressure while producing quality products under short notice deadlines.
  • Ability to manage a project team composed by internal and external resources
Specific Qualifications
  • Extensive knowledge of SAP, functional modules, system architecture, reporting platform and development environment.
  • Extensive experience in SAP functional analysis, customizing and development, with emphasis on the SD (Sales & Distribution), Service and MM (Materials Management) modules
  • Experience in SAP Activate methodology, standards and techniques, systems design, development, implementation and integration, selection and acquisition of systems and services, and management of projects.
  • Good knowledge of cyber security concepts, risks and mitigation techniques applicable to the field of software application development and ERP.
LANGUAGE QUALIFICATIONS
  • NATO’s two official languages are English and French. The work of this post is mainly conducted in English, therefore fluency in that language is essential and working knowledge of French is desirable

POST DETAILS

  • Basic monthly salary: EUR 9 083, 62 tax free.
  • Definite duration post of 5 years.

NSPA staff members of the same grade can submit a transfer request till 25 June 2024.

Qualified redundant NATO civilian candidates of the same grade will be considered in priority.

Interviews are expected to be held approximately six weeks after the application closing date. The Talent Acquisition and Development Office shall let you know in due course the outcome of the screening process.
