The Institute for Policy Research is seeking an experienced professional to join the team!
About the role:
Delivering events online and in person, to create new content and delivery of this content across multiple communications channels to support the Institute for Policy Research’s wide-ranging communications and policy research and public engagement activities.
You’ll play a key role in managing our digital presence to external and internal stakeholders, running our events, and communications channels.
Using your knowledge of communications and event management, you’ll work closely with the Head of Policy Programmes and Communications and IPR Colleagues to create appropriate content that meets specific user needs.

You will be able to communicate effectively and confidently to develop good working relationships. You should have excellent interpersonal skills, be a good team player and have the ability to successfully manage your workload, as well as stakeholder expectations.

The Institute for Policy Research (IPR) undertakes and enables policy-relevant research to make an impact, especially through building links with the worlds of policy and practice as well as by increasing public understanding of policy research through our Public Lecture and publications series.
We deliver activities for policymakers, researchers and practitioners to enable two-way learning and original contributions to both research and practice, delivered through our Policy Fellowship Programme , Visiting Fellows and Visiting Policy Fellows Schemes , and the Professional Doctorate and MSc in Public Policy offered with the Department of Social and Policy Sciences at the University of Bath.
