International Regional Manager


Overview:
  • Full-time, Fixed Term position until November 2023

  • Salary HEW 9 + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements

  • Based at the Melbourne CBD campus, and hybrid ways of working

About You

You will be designated regional accountability where you will lead and coordinate all marketing recruitment activities for a specified region and generate international student enrolments and business development opportunities for RMIT against specific targets and within budget

You will develop and implement innovative marketing and recruitment strategies with strong digital components, and represent RMIT at student recruitment events, conduct seminars and interview programs and visit education organisations to recruit international students to RMIT

To be successful in this position, you’ll have:

  • Experience in student recruitment and marketing of educational services for international students.

  • Experience of online customer acquisition utilizing digital, social and other acquisition marketing vehicles.

  • Good knowledge of the education systems in Australia and in the main target overseas countries, including admission qualifications and entry standards, as well as a thorough understanding of current Government policies affecting international education.

  • Proven ability to exercise initiative, to think strategically and creatively, monitor and evaluate work performance and flow and to meet deadlines in a complex and demanding environment.

  • Experience of developing international recruitment partnerships with academic institutions and pathways.

The Experience Organisation in RMIT, part of the Operations portfolio, is established to create great experiences and journeys for our Students, Researchers and Industry Partners. A key component of these journeys and experiences is delivered via our digital platforms.   • Simple but secure system foundations – Ensure foundation technology is simplified, free of duplication, and secure.

The Experience Organisation has an essential role to play in realising these goals.
