- Full-time, 12 month fixed term contract based in UniSA International at 101 Currie Street, Adelaide
- Commencement Salary: $73,341 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)
About the Role
The International Admissions Officer is
responsible for a broad range of tasks involved in assessing
applications, issuing offers and processing acceptances for
prospective international students seeking admission to the
University. The position also provides support in response to offshore
and onshore recruitment events and periods of high-volume application processing.

Core Responsibilities
- From the point of receipt, undertake
the effective and efficient processing of applications in
accordance with UniSA International service standards for
admission to undergraduate and postgraduate coursework, UniSA
Online (International) and non-award programs - Assess and determine student
applications, generate offers for admission to programs and other
related cohorts such as study abroad, exchange, sponsored, online
and pathway students - Provide appropriate advice and
information in a timely manner to prospective students, University
representatives and agents and University staff in relation to
admissions procedures and decisions - Advise students and staff of their
requirement to comply with the Educational Services for Overseas
Students (ESOS) Act and relevant University policies and
procedures, and in conjunction with the compliance team, take
necessary action where non-compliance occurs
Essential Skills and Experience
- Experience in the provision of
timely and accurate advice to students and other stakeholders and
demonstrated understanding and experience of the international
student application process - Excellent interpersonal, networking,
relationship building and communication skills to enable working
with a diverse range of people and cultures, and at a variety of levels - Well-developed organisational
abilities, demonstrating initiative in work planning activities
and the ability to prioritise to meet deadlines, often with
competing demands, in a complex team environment - Sound written communication skills
together with well-developed computing and administrative skills
including experience in using Microsoft Office and administration
information systems and developing and maintaining electronic records
