Your Opportunity

We are looking for an individual with Intermediate level experience in Planning / Scheduling, Cost Controls, Performance Measurement, Earned Value Analysis, Critical Path Analysis, Change Management, Delay Analysis and Quantity Survey for infrastructure developments. This position will be based out of our Kelowna, Kamloops or Vancouver office with primary responsibilities that could necessitate periodic travel and or temporary work assignment at project sites. In this position you will take a lead role in schedule development on large scale engineering projects.

Responsibilities

  • Cost Control

    • Contract Management including, Work Order Preparation, PPT and PSF updates, working with the PM teams to ensure forecasting and Work Orders are done in a timely manner and supporting the controller with client and program reporting Consultant management including Prequalification,
    • Contract preparation and invoicing.
    • Invoicing preparing Client Invoices with customized back up files, timely submission and payment tracking for both Stantec and Subconsultants
    • File management ensuring our contract files are current, complete, and meet ISO standards
    • Pipeline updates, for Work Order approvals
    • Other tasks to support the controller including, file audits, PPT and project set ups and other financial reporting as needed
  • Schedule

    • Support for the Lead Scheduler for CRRP including working with multidisciplinary teams to update the project and program schedules in Primavera Software
    • Support for the Lead Scheduler and other teams with MS Project Schedules as needed

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • 5 years experience in cost control, contract management and scheduling preferably on large projects or programs

  • Advanced Excel, Intermediate Word and comfort using financial systems

  • Advanced Primavera user, @Risk and asset

  • Advanced MS Project user

  • Oracle & ProjectWise experience an asset

  • Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills, time management and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.

Pay transparency laws require employers to provide the following information for positions that may be in the following jurisdiction(s):

Salary Range(s):

  • Lower Mainland $63,200 / BC Other Areas $59,600 – Lower Mainland $91,600 / BC Other Areas $86,400 Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in BC (Lower Mainland includes Vancouver & Burnaby)

The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
