| Description | Part-time, contract faculty member with appropriate nursing specialization to teach in undergraduate and/or graduate courses. Work assignments and locations vary. Faculty responsibilities include teaching in classroom, clinical, and/or simulation environments in baccalaureate courses for adult health, medical-surgical, psychiatric mental health, and other courses as appropriate; and/or teaching in the Family Nurse Practitioner Track of the MS in Nursing program. |
| Minimum Qualifications | Current unencumbered State of Indiana Registered Nurse License; Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university by the date of appointment; national certification as an NP or an earned doctorate in nursing from an accredited college or university (if teaching master’s program). |
| Authorization to work in the US | Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship. |
| Preferred Qualifications | Teaching experience in higher education; clinical nursing experience in related area of teaching; ability to communicate effectively; ability to use and integrate technology in nursing education; current clinical practice as an NP. |
| Required Certifications/Licensures | Current unencumbered State of Indiana Registered Nurse License by date of appointment. |
| Pre-Employment Screening | Requires successful completion of a background check and education verification. |
