Position Description

Advertised Job Summary	The Department of Political Science at the University of South Carolina seeks applications for a full-time, nine-month Professor of Practice position in Public Administration, to begin August 16, 2023. This professional-track appointment is renewable based on Dean’s approval, satisfactory performance, departmental needs, and the availability of funding.
Required Education and Experience	Master’s in Public Administration (MPA) or related field, or a PhD. is required. Must have at least 15 years (20 years preferred) of demonstrated excellence and experience in public administration.
Preferred Qualifications	20 years of demonstrated excellence and experience in public administration.
