Position Summary Purpose/Description:
This position is responsible for providing assistance and training on instructional design for online course delivery. This position has an active role in the technical and administrative process of individual course development including updating existing materials, preparing lectures, research, and creating materials for online courses.Handles a variety of program specific activities. Responds to technical problems and student inquiries.
Representative Tasks:

  • Assists in the design, development, and implementation of online course delivery which may include web and social media content.
  • Monitors and analyzes data and recommends solutions for effective delivery of instruction/program service.
  • Develops processes to ensure timely and quality content delivery.
  • Creates and maintains training and program documentation. Delivers training and related resources (teaching aids) to students, faculty, and staff as assigned. 
  • Collaborates with a variety of UNT stakeholders to complete work.
  • Works with students on a variety of issues related to online courses.

Work completed with a limited degree of supervision. Supervisor makes assignments by defining objectives, priorities and deadlines, and assists employee with unusual situations that do not have clear objectives. Employee plans and carries out assignments and resolves problems and deviations in accordance with instructions,policies and accepted practices.
Given:
Typically has no supervisory responsibility for staff but provides informal guidance and support to new team members, as well as on-the-job training on specific tasks required to perform job effectively and procedures to follow. May supervise hourly or student employees.

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in related field and two years of related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
