The institutional research data analyst provides assistance and guidance in the collection, interpretation and application of quantitative data for an educational institution in support of evidence-based decisions and policy formulation. Retrieves, critically evaluates and makes recommendations on institutional data from a wide variety of sources, considering the impact on students of diverse backgrounds. This position is also responsible for the design and implementation of institutional research for a variety of college areas and projects. Serves as an internal consultant to college employees in the design and analysis of data research projects and in the interpretation of statistical data in support of enrollment management, academic planning, and the assessment of teaching and student-learning outcomes. This person will work both independently and in a team environment.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors’ Degree from an accredited institution with substantial course work or portfolio evidence in quantitative subjects and technical writing
-AND-
Two years of related experience in the design and conduct of institutional or operations research
-AND-
Experience in preparation and presentation (querying data, data manipulation, descriptive statistics, and data visualization) of data research results

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary requirements are met.

PUBLIC SERVICE LOAN FORGIVENESS
Chemeketa Community College is considered a qualifying public employer for the purposes of the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program. Through the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program, full-time employees working at the College may qualify for forgiveness of the remaining balance on Direct Loans after 120 qualifying monthly payments under a qualifying repayment plan. Questions regarding your loan eligibility should be directed to your loan servicer or to the US Department of Education.
