Salary: $24.62 an hour
We are currently recruiting for an Inside Sales Representative on behalf of a well-established hardware, security products, and access control equipment distributor located in Coquitlam,. This organization is proud to be the longest-operating distributor in its sector in British Columbia and operates as a subsidiary of a larger, Ontario-based distributor.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of B2B sales in door & security/locksmith industry experience is required
- Previous experience within the security hardware/locksmith industry: manufacturing or wholesale
- Proficient with MS Suite
- Proficiency with NetSuite ERP and various CRM systems, preferred
- Positive, personable, and collaborative team player
- Confident & professional communicator when engaging with clients
- Excellent communication skills: written & verbal
- Employment References & a Triton Background check will be conducted upon further consideration of a candidate
Duties:
- Prospect and develop new B2B client relationships
- Engage with locksmiths, door service companies, professionals, and OEM users
- Identify, qualify, and follow up on sales leads
- Maintain daily sales productivity and activity targets
- Process customer inquiries and sales orders via email, fax, inbound phone calls, and walk-in customers
- Coordinate with warehouse and administrative teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment and timely delivery
- Report competitive market intelligence and maintain up-to-date customer records
- Prepare and follow up on special-order quotes
- Organize and manage daily sales activities, pipelines, and follow-ups
- Maintain accurate sales records within the NetSuite CRM system
- Provide occasional support with shipping, receiving, or order picking as required
