Job Title: Information Technology Technician
Lower Yellowstone Rural Electric Cooperative is seeking a motivated IT Technician to join our team. This full-time position is in Sidney, MT. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be a problem-solver within the cooperative, contributing to the service and support of LYREC’s members.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in setting up computers and related equipment
* Install and configure software
* Maintain and update technical documentation
* Update asset database software
* Provide technical support and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues for end-users.
* Test new hardware and software before full-scale implementation
* Provide training and guidance to employees for secure and proficient use of software and hardware.
This position supports the information technology environment, ensuring that it is secure, meets the needs of the business and gives employees and directors the tools and training they need to be effective and proficient in their area of responsibility. Travel and training will be required with this position.
