Position
The University of Alberta Library seeks a full-time, recurring term (mid-August to mid-May every year) Information Services Specialist with a strong customer service orientation for the Augustana Library. Hours of work may include evening and weekend shifts. Augustana Library is located in Camrose, AB.
Augustana Library offers an integrated service desk model for providing reference and information services, circulation/borrower services, and technology support services. The Library operates in a highly electronic environment with collections and services in support of the research, teaching and information needs of theAugustana Faculty. Reporting to the Head, Information Services & User Engagement (IS-UE), the Information Services Specialist is part of a dynamic and collaborative IS-UE team, whose mission is to find solutions for library users, while contributing to the provision of welcoming services. The Information Services Specialist works to collaborate effectively with people of diverse cultures, and with varying levels of comfort with the academic setting.
