Information and Communication Technology Regional Scholarship

The Information and Communication Technology scholarship will support a student to gain a set of industry recognised certifications as part of a University of Tasmania Diploma or Graduate Certificate. The Diploma or Graduate Certificate will enable a graduate to enter the digital workforce and fill a critical demand for skilled Information and Communication Technology professionals in regional Tasmania. The scholarship aims to support a student from the North-West coast who would otherwise need to leave home to gain an Information and Communication Technology qualification.

Eligibility

Available to a student from the North-West coast of Tasmania commencing study in a Under Graduate Certificate or Diploma of ICT Professional Practice at the University of Tasmania in the first half of 2023. Applicants must be commencing study at the Cradle Coast campus in Burnie.

On-going Eligibility

To retain this award, recipients are required to achieve a minimum Pass result in all units studied each semester.
