Responsibilities:

You would be part of the OneCloud Consulting and Advisory services team at PwC Technology Consulting, advising IT and business leaders on Cloud enabled innovation and business transformation initiatives. At PwC Technology Consulting, we work with leading companies and help them realize their digital transformation objectives. In your role you would bring in excellent Technology consulting skills with relevant technology implementation and Cloud Engineering capabilities.

You will…

• Work on consulting engagements as part of OneCloud Consulting and Advisory services team and analyze application landscape, current architecture and identify key cloud enabled modern technologies, including the right hyperscale platforms and solutions and define an approach towards application modernization and migration to cloud.
• Demonstrate deep practice knowledge in Cloud including the following-
  • Work with the PwC Industry, business strategy and customer IT teams on complex IT transformation projects i.e., Data center transformation, cloud strategy formulation, cloud migration and applications modernization solutions and implementation programs
  • Work with PwC competency leads to develop CoE(Center of Excellence) service catalogs across various consulting and Industry solution offerings and proactively contribute in creating new consulting assets and IPs.
  • Recommend “best fit” Cloud Modernization Models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and Cloud Deployment Model (Private, Public, Hybrid) meeting client needs and objectives as part of the Cloud strategy, assessment and modernization and migration solutions
  • Develop Public, Private and Hybrid Cloud strategy by taking into consideration offerings from large Hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SIs around Compute, Storage and Back-Up, Network and Security, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery

Your experience and know how matters.

• An Engineering degree, with preferably an MBA, with minimum 5 years of experience within consulting domain in Tier 1 and GSI firms.
• Experience in BFSI (Enterprise or Startup segment), Manufacturing or Pharma industries is preferred
• Prior Agile development experience
• 8+ years of Cloud and Application modernization experience
• Strong experience in architecting complex Modernization projects involving legacy modernization on Java or Dotnet technologies to Paas and or Microservices architecture.
• Containerization (Docker/Docker Hub/Helm) and container orchestration (K8s, Docker Swarm).
• Work on the design and deployment of micro-services architecture using containers
• Architecture skills on Cloud ETL, BI/Analytics, UX Modernization, Integration, API etc.
• Data Engineering using Glue, S3, Athena, EMR, PySpark Python
• Architecture skills for Application modernization
• Should have managed complex Application modernization delivery with a cross-functional team
• Hands-on experience working on Microservices transformation or application modernization on Cloud using Java(Spring Boot, Hibernate, Java Core) or Dotnet (.Net Core 3.1+, C#, ASP.NET, MVC), Database modernization (Heterogeneous/ Homogeneous)
• Hands on experience on CI/CD tools like, Gitlab, Kafka, Docker, Cucumber, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes etc.,
• Hands on experience in working on cloud native services and familiarity with any of public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Aptitude for critical and analytical thinking as well as the capacity to adapt out-of-the box solutions
• Ability to synthesis and translate complex technical aspects into business terms and define from business objectives and constraints complex technical solutions
• Design and deliver complex cross-domain solutions encompassing a rich variety of technologies and using a mixture of agile and planned methods to provide innovative solutions to address clients’ needs
• Strong technical knowledge in software Architecture and design patterns
• Autonomous, positive thinker, highly flexible and willing to work independently as well as part of a team
• A consistently high achiever marked by perseverance, humility and a positive outlook in the face of challenges
• Adapt and function effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while working under deadlines.
• Take initiative, drive results and take on increasing levels of responsibility
• AWS certified Solution Architect or any other equivalent cloud certification is preferred.
• Good customer facing experience, excellent communication and presentation skills are required.
