About Business Services
Business Services provides a full range of class leading information technology, facilities management, finance, HR and health and safety services to all operating entities of the University.

The function of Digital Workplace Technology sits within the Client Services cluster of Business Services and has a clear work grouping orientation towards strategic growth and transformation domains.

About the Role
As Implementation Specialist, Microsoft Modern Endpoint Management, you will be responsible for driving the implementation and adoption of modern management technologies in relation to Windows Endpoints.

With an initial key focus on Windows Autopilot, you will act as the technical subject matter expert and be hands-on to ensure key outcomes are met in line with core business objectives. You will also drive service transition activities including project transition to operations, release and deployment management, service validation and testing, knowledge management, change and configuration management and support.

Responsibilities include:

  • Act as the technical subject matter expert for all products that form Microsoft Endpoint Manager, including but not limited to Endpoint Configuration Manager, Intune, Autopilot
  • Design and implement Autopilot as the primary method of device provisioning
  • Support of transition from project phase to business as usual
  • Implement initiatives that support the Digital Workplace team’s technology roadmap within the Microsoft domains and its interaction with other digital workplace technologies

About You
You will bring a strong breadth of experience having worked within technology services groups across large complex organisations, and have extensive development and implementation experience in the Microsoft Operating Environment.  You will also have excellent interpersonal competencies in the areas of stakeholder management and influence, innovation and continuous improvement, and effectively manage external vendors and outsourced services. Additionally, you also work well in cross functional teams, agile delivery environments and have experience working with Technical Service Owners, Product Owners and Product Managers.

You will also have:

  • An awarded post graduate qualification in a relevant discipline with extensive relevant experience and/or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
  • A qualification in ITIL and/or previous experience using ITIL at a practical level
  • Advanced industry-based certification relevant to the Microsoft technical domain: Microsoft Endpoint Manager (SCCM Intune, Autopilot) Certification
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (including SCCM, Intune and Autopilot) to manage Windows devices
  • Experience with Azure AD configuration and troubleshooting including Azure AD Connect
