Implementation Lead in Ottawa, Ontario

Description:

Our federal government client is looking for an Implementation Lead with large telecom hardware migration projects. This lead’s main task is to provide subject-matter expertise in a telecommunications migration, including guidance and delivery on initiatives of both strategic and operational importance. Broadly speaking, the lead the migrations with DND for the PBX, Voip, telecome, wi-fi and will promote the effective delivery of the project to its partners.

• Level 1 clearance required

• Full time hours

• 12 month contract to start

1) 10 years’ experience as a telecommunication/wan/lan/wi-fi expert including multiple projects with the implementation/de-commission of telephony/telecom equipment including but not limited to PBX, Nortel, etc.

2) 10 Years experience Identifying, researching, developing and suggesting the implementation of policies and procedures that will serve to strengthen a department’s Telecommunications project delivery.

3) 2+projects experience reviewing documents on current and emerging project issues, including briefing materials, position papers, speaking points, corporate reporting, protocols, media information and presentations for consistency with departmental and other government department positions.

4) 2 + projects working delivering telecommunications projects interacting with multiple departments & vendors and interacting with various levels of stakeholders and 1 + project minimum working with SSC or DND
