HVAC Mechanic in Ottawa, Ontario

Are you a skilled mechanic with a knack for maintaining and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems? Join our team as a Mobile Maintenance Mechanic! You’ll perform both preventative and corrective maintenance, assist other mechanics, and tackle tasks independently. Your work will span both the interior and exterior of our properties, ensuring everything from walls to lighting is in top shape.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean HVAC coils, change filters, and belts.

• Maintain and repair locks, doors, and furniture.

• Document and maintain fire extinguishers and other building systems.

• Repair plumbing components like toilets, sinks, and water heaters.

• Paint and perform general handyman tasks to keep buildings in great condition.

• Handle special tasks such as painting, locksmith work, and tenant service requests.

• Prioritize and manage work orders using our CMMS system.

• Ensure safety and compliance with all regulations.

What You Need:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

• 5-7 years of experience in maintenance.

• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.

• Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook.

• Experience in carpentry, electrical, and plumbing.

• Valid driver’s license and a parking spot for a company vehicle.

• Experience working at heights.

• Valid driver’s license and parking spot for company vehicle.

Bonus Skills & Qualifications

• EPA Universal License considered an asset.

• BAS Experience – asset.

• Experience with preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment.

• Experience working at heights.

• Trade license or other related certifications.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 – $30.00
