Position : Human Resources Coordinator
Southbridge Health Care LP owns and operates 26 Long-Term Care Homes and 8 Retirement Homes throughout many urban and rural areas of Ontario. Southbridge Health Care LP is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to deliver support to our Human Resources Department, with a focus on supporting our Talent Acquisition Team. Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, the individual will demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and passion for seniors care by delivering high-quality support to our organization.
Responsibilities:

Manage Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) applications for our Long-Term Care Homes.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.

Liaise with government agencies and service providers regarding the Temporary Foreign Worker Program.

Organize and manage flight bookings and travel arrangements for foreign workers.

Oversee travel expenses, renewal of work permits, travel visas, health cards, and social insurance cards.

Facilitate the onboarding process for international workers, ensuring they have the necessary documentation and support.

Collect, organize, and maintain accurate data related to international workers and talent acquisition activities.

Prepare regular reports on workforce metrics, program status, and other HR-related data.

Analyze data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.

Assist in coordinating recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling.

Maintain effective communication with candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers.

Support the development and implementation of talent acquisition strategies.

Provide administrative support to the HR department as needed.

Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of all HR-related activities.

Assist with employee relations and other HR initiatives as required.
Qualifications:

Previous experience in HR coordination or a related field.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Experience with international worker programs and LMIA applications is a plus.
