This commitment to excellence carries through to each employee at our distribution centers.The impact you can haveThe HR Coordinator, Finance and Payroll is responsible for assisting with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the HR Department goals and objectives in alignment with the overall goals and objectives of the Retail Support Center.What you’ll doPAYROLL, INCENTIVES, TIME AND ATTENDANCEPrepares, submits, and audits weekly payroll and incentivesManages manual checksInputs new hire hours and assigns badge numbersConducts Workday data entry including new hires, terminations, and promotionsEnsures proper premiums and shift differentials are being appliedAdministers and manages the time and attendance policy of all RSC employeesEnsures the proper level of discipline is issued per the time and attendance policyMaintains the proper points balance and adjusts as needed per the time and attendance policyEnsures that vacation, sick, and deferred holidays are managed and paid properlyWorkday Report – DC Report (labor hour reporting), Daily and Weekly hours, time off report, unmatched punches, corrective actions, meal waivers, and OT
FINANCEAP/AR FunctionsClearing Employee Store StatementsFILING AND ADMIISTRATIONResponsible to maintain HR filing for the departmentOrder Office SuppliesRECOGNITIONManage birthdays, anniversary milestones, and employee recognitionBENEFITS AND WELLNESSAssist employees with benefit related questions.Assist with annual benefits open enrollmentEMPLOYEE SERVICES/HR COMMUNICATIONSServes as subject matter experts and contact for teammates & management regarding human resources policies, programs, and initiativesResolves teammates questions or concernsAssists with employee eventsRECRUITMENTProvides back-up assistance in recruitment efforts. This can include conducting phone screens, sourcing resumes and posting positions through various sites.Provide backup assistance pre-employment drug testing, offer letters and scheduling start dates.Attend job fairs at both on-site and off-site locationsLegal ComplianceRemains current on all local, state and federal employment laws and regulationsOther duties as assignedWhat you need to succeedBachelor’s Degree preferred; Emphasis on Human Resources a plusPHR/SPHR desirableMinimum 2-3 year’s experience in human resources and/or payrollKnowledge and skill in payroll and employment lawProven experience in building and maintaining professional relationshipsStrong customer service orientation and demonstrated administrative experienceExpertise in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internetExperience in Workday preferredStrong Communication skills, both verbal and writtenGood attention to detailAbility to maintain a high degree of confidentialityStrong interest in recruitment, employment branding and general human resources practicesWhat can Ace offer you?
