JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Penn State Hershey College of Medicine, Department of General Internal Medicine, in Hershey, PA is seeking a full-time Human Research Technologist to work on Project ECHO. This position will work on multiple aspects of each project, including, but not limited to, participant outreach, CME applications and reporting, scheduling, data collection, data monitoring, and data entry. Administrative duties will be primarily data set-up, entry and analysis, but may also include assisting with training and monitoring part-time undergraduate and graduate research assistants, ordering supplies, helping participants with zoom equipment, tracking participants, participant incentive disbursements and preparing mailings to participants and outreach sites.
 

Experience with data analysis, the IRB, Microsoft Office, and REDCap is preferred. Comfort working with different technologies is desired. Applicants should possess very strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and good communication skills. Strong applicants would enjoy working with people, have excellent time management skills, and work well in a team environment. Some flexibility for early or late hours may be necessary on occasion.

• Offers ideas to facilitate creative problem solving and innovation.
• Demonstrates innovative solutions to both project and department goals.

Typically requires an Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s degree preferred, two + years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

This is a limited-term position funded for one year from date of hire, with possibility of refunding.

• Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Criminal Background Check
