HR Support Centre Adviser

£23,715 to £27,131 per annum

Full-Time, Fixed Term 

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Adviser to join our busy HR Support Centre team at a time of change and improvement to the People and Culture Division.

You will be providing a customer focused HR advisory service to staff and managers on a range of HR policies and procedures, as well as using your initiative to improve and update processes, where required.

You will be collaborating and working closely with Associate HR Business Partner colleagues in supporting a portfolio within the University, ensuring the efficient and effective provision of HR advice and administrative support.

The right candidate will have experience of working in an HR Advisory role, with excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise a busy workload. With a good knowledge of HR policies and procedures, you will enjoy working as part of a team and have a positive ‘can do’ attitude with a solution-focused approach.

This full-time post is available from November 2022 on an 8-month, fixed-term basis, with a possibility of extension up to 12 months to cover the secondment of the current postholder.

We currently offer hybrid working in People & Culture with the flexibility to fit in, wherever possible, with individual requirements. Our current hybrid working pilot typically supports working from home (in the UK) for 3 days a week, with the other two days located in our P&C Homezone on campus, with one of those days set on a Friday each week.
