Grade 6 (£28,762 – £34,308 p.a. depending on experience)

This role will be based on the University campus, with scope for it to undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
Do you have experience of supporting and delivering projects? Are you an excellent communicator? Would you like to help design and deliver training linked to project activity?
With a positive and collaborative approach to achieving the aims of the People & Culture Directorate, you will work with a small team of project managers, supporting and sometimes leading on a range of strategic programmes and internal HR service-change projects.
Your workload will vary depending on the projects that you are working on but will involve all aspects of project management from idea generation to planning and scoping, engaging stakeholders, communications, implementation and transitioning projects to business as usual. You will work closely with other members of the Strategic Programmes team as well as colleagues right across HR and the wider University.
You will be responsible for co-ordinating your own workload to meet deadlines and be able to develop workable solutions and influence decision making. You will have the ability to face and adapt to challenges and overcome them in a positive and proactive manner.
You will use your experience and excellent interpersonal skills to build credibility, develop effective working relationships and gain buy-in from key parties including senior management, key staff stakeholders and HR colleagues.
With experience of working in an HR environment, you will also have experience of supporting and delivering projects, sometimes in difficult or complex circumstances, and as such, you will have excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence others. This role will provide you with an excellent opportunity to further develop your skills within a supportive team environment.
