Position Overview

Students are at the heart of everything we do. We are seeking a positive and energetic Housekeeper/Cleaner to join the Accommodation Services team and help build the residential communities at the Massey Manawatu Halls.

In the role of Housekeeper, you will provide and deliver outstanding levels of customer service to our residential communities. The positions are permanent and full-time.

The role requires the successful person to juggle competing priorities which requires initiative and a constant eye on improvements. The positions are located in our halls in Palmerston North, on campus. You will be spending time cleaning and checking our facilities and engaging with our resident community as part of a fun, hardworking housekeeping team.

Our preferred candidates must demonstrate:

• Experience in a residential or hotel environment, ideally in university accommodation, supporting young people (preferred).
• A Passion for cleaning!
• Ability to multi-task and have an eye for detail

Being a team player and caring about the success of those around you.

This is a varied role, which at times, can be busy and fast-paced. You will need to have strong teamwork skills and be able to work in line with university systems, policies and procedures.
